Description
An Oxford language professor is asked by Middle East Oil magnates to decipher a hieroglyphic and soon finds himself marked for murder; an accountant with amnesia asks a private investigator to help him determine his identity; Captain Josiah Newman deals with a lack of resources and difficult patients as he runs the neuropsychiatric ward of a military hospital in 1944; a sea captain faces danger when he falls in love with a woman running from her fiancé.
